We are going to be dry camping for the next 6 days at a huge RV rally in Albuquerque so we did some prep today - laundry, fill propane, fill water, call friends to arrange a meeting place. I will not be posting my blog until after the rally as I probably won’t be plugging in the computer when we are running the generator to charge the batteries.
Two pieces of not good news today. Terry’s Mom (Ella Mae) went into the hospital last night with pneumonia. Her husband Don says we are not to try to head to Spokane immediately.
The next ugly news concerns Terry’s cousin Theresa who we visited in Texas. Their farm was totally burned in the wild fires in north Texas last week. I was concerned about fires in Oklahoma as they have property there as well but the fires just missed them there.
There are lots of RVs heading for Albuquerque on Hwy 40 today. The park where we are staying has many units heading there as well. We are really looking forward to the rally and will report on it next week.
