Nov 19th to 21st - Apache Junction

Nov 19th - Thurs - Apache Junction
We all wanted to play bingo again but Billy didn’t want the evening session so we went to play at the 12:30 session. You do not win as much but it does not cost as much to play. And Lauri did it again!! Won a game for $300. We played the slots a bit after bingo finished and continued our losing ways.
We had lunch at the casino so we stopped at a grocery store for a couple of items and had tacos for dinner.

Nov 20th - Fri - Apache Junction
I am reading a good John Grisham book and enjoyed it outside with coffee and doughnuts this morning. When we went to the store for doughnuts, we found another of our good meat buys ($3.88 for 5 ¼ lbs of round steak) and decided to make beef stroganoff for us and Billy & Lauri. I browned the meat and put it in the crockpot before we strolled through the Mesa Marketplace without finding anything that we had to buy.
The weather has been beautiful and a new neighbor is providing afternoon shade so sitting out in the afternoon is wonderful.
We ate early enough that we could do so outside but moved indoors for dessert.

Nov 21st - Sat - Apache Junction
Terry & I took advantage of the Eggs Benedict breakfast at the park this morning - very good. They cook the eggs in muffin tins that are set in water in large electric fry pans and roasters. They are cooked with the lid on so the whites are cooked and the yolks are still soft.
The breakfast was teamed with a craft sale and a yard sale so we wandered through both with one small purchase. I was close to finishing my book so I read while Terry cleaned the truck.
Next was a bike ride which turned out to be very short as my rear tire was flat. We decided to try a solid “inner tube” and set out for WalMart. Of course the first store did not have the correct size so on to another. We picked up the tube and made a swing past the TVs. Mistake!! We have been planning to put a flat screen TV in the bedroom and we saw one at a very good price. Unfortunately, they did not have one in stock. A very nice customer service rep spent at least ½ hour trying to find one for us. Their computer listed inventory at most stores but phone calls discovered none in stock. She thought it all had something to do with a “Black Friday” sale. We didn’t get our TV.
Terry put the new solid tube in the tire and it was immediately obvious that it was not going to work. He had a regular tube so put it in instead and then took the new tube back to the store. I had a huge list of emails and was still dealing with them when he returned.
We had a nice BBQ steak dinner and then Terry went to play poker again.
